Congratulations! The Office of Admission has approved your application to the University of Florida for the 2006 FALL term.

An official notification of admission and additional materials will be mailed to you soon.

On behalf of the Office of Admission, welcome to the Florida Gator family!

:D

FSU > UF. True story, some dude named God said so.

Colleges are business. Unless they're the elite, it's usually not a problem getting in.

Unless you're a total idiot and your ACT scores, etc. totally suck.

Most large public schools take alot, and then alot of those dont make it past year 1. They weed out the fools.

Yuppers. tOSU does that. You'd be amazed how hard it is to park those first four weeks of fall quarter. After that, I kid you not, it's a breeze.

That being said, it's amazing how many smart kids, once they get their independance, flunk themselves out of school by getting too drunk, smoking too much weed and/or partying too much. And ladies, you ain't exempt either. Why not wait until last quarter Senior year to get "the preggers"?

Agreed, it is sad how many of my high school friends went to really good well thought of schools and absolutely failed miserably. The kids that were under their parents supervision 24/7 and had a strict social life, etc were the ones who went absolutely nuts when they were finally free from the 'rents. I saw my fair share of craziness in high school, so when I got here it wasnt as much of a shock to me at all.

Yeah, I was basically guarenteed to get in, but it's nice to find out officially. UF is more competitive then a lot of other state universities around the country and certainly the most competitive public university in Florida. There's plenty of people who don't get into Florida, that's why FSU is there.

Also, it is the best university in the state according to US News And World Report, and 50th overall in the nation. And the best part(and the reason I'm going there): it's free.

Congrats dude.

And Buckeye, that is how UF is. They let a lot in then tons fail in the first semester. It's quite funny.

Congrats! I am hoping to hear back from FSU soon. My brother is a Gator, so he will stay as the only one I think. I can't stand Gainesville.

:lol Yup, December 15th is their deadline for an answer.

Well, I guess FSU is better for a meteorology major, but that's about it.

Meterology, science (in general), undergraduate studies, and Business.

Ya, that's about it.

And Cape, come to FSU and you get to meet that Cowboy chica.
