Getting swept by the pirates is worse than getting kicked in the nuts. Nobody can pitch, Nobody can hit. I feel sick. August 29, 200323 yr After just finishing watching the last 4 innings of the 97 WS game...I feel extremly positive as of now. Beckett(6-7, 3.41) will take on Tucker(0-1, 5.04) tommorow. I have confidence that the Fish will come out of this offensive slide. It will feel good to be home again....

With the way we are playing now Tucker will probaly pitch 7 solid innings allowing only 1 or 2 runs in an Expos win.

August 29, 200323 yr only thing i can think of that might be a silver lining is that they're coming back home tomorrow. the marlins have never been a good road team. maybe coming back to the Pro will snap them out of this funk. i have to hope that's the case...
