Willis and Cabrera WBC jerseys

Featured Replies

If they weren't so damn expensive.....

Pretty much all the WBC merch I wanted to buy is on backorder for 2-4 weeks. Talk about bad business on their part. By the time that rolls around, I'll probably have forgotten.

Buy them on eBay, preferably after the WBC when the demand/price will drop. If you're looking for cheap jerseys, eBay's the place to go.

That's not true at all. I bought a Josh Beckett authentic jersey on eBay for $65.

A jersey is either authentic or it's not, there's no middle ground and the differences are very obvious. The tag on the bottom right of the jersey will say MLB AUTHENTIC and the authentics come with the MLB AUTHENTICS cardboard tag, they also have small detail stitching whereas the replicas do not, not to mention the fact that the replica's only have solid black numbering on the back of the jersey while the authentics have the actual authentic letters and numbers on the back and on the front.

You're right, there are a lot of scam artists on eBay that do try and pass replica jerseys off as authentics, but it's just a matter of finding a reputable seller and there are a few of them. There is one seller named JADGANGJERSEYS, I don't know how he is able to do it, but he has a ton of authentic jerseys for dirt cheap, that's where I got my Beckett authentic jersey for $65... I just went and checked and he raised the price to $103, but still a good deal compared to anywhere else.

Man very intriguing to buy, but what the hell are they thinking, selling them so expensive, I'll wait until they land in ROss ;-)

you mostly only find the ones with the plain black names on the back

I got a Miguel Cabrera road jersey from the same seller that Accord mentioned.

Some of those are authentic, but some aren't. (The Beckett jerseys are, but the Cabrera ones are not.) His item descriptions must be read carefully.

Did you get the Beckett jersey before or after he got traded?

I got it literally like 6 hours after he was traded.
