Playing .500 Ball!

What a great way to see these young guys rebound from last night's disappointing loss.

They really showed they could swing the bats against top notch pitching.

This season is going to be fun to watch. And how about Willy with 2 bombs! :notworthy

I can't wait until I go home in 3 weeks. I really want to watch the games. How lame that I can't.

this game was awesome, hanley did a great turn around, with 2 HR by willi and 1 by cabs and jacobs. just a preview of whats to come this year.

part that did worry me was jacobs getting grazed on the nose and the pitch location of herges in the 9th. but all was well in this game

go marlins!!!

We have a good chance to win the series if we can keep swinging the bats against Rodriguez tomorrrow. How sweet would that be? :thumbup

And no "happy feet" for Uggla today. I think he and Hanley calmed down nicely today.

The one DP was perfectly executed. It certainly allows them to gain confidence.

These guys will soon realize they belong at this level.

i got a feeling that we win tomorrows game if we get off to quick start. we beat the guy last year and we can do it again, really doesnt have anything special, moehler just has to keep the ball down and move it around and let the defense take care of the rest.

If they can hit Pettitte the way they did, they certainly can hit Rodriguez. It's really a question of whether Moehler can start the season strong like he did last year.

Let's see what they do tomorrow before going nuts, mmkay?

Great showing, absolutely fantastic, but it's still only one game.

I will say that the fact that last year's team only hit 4 homers in a game twice all of last season sure brought a smile to my face seeing the kids do it tonight. :thumbup

I really like the way they kept it low-key on the field after the game. No sense rubbing it in the Astros' face and firing them up for tomorrow night.

But you can be damn sure they were hooting and hollering in the clubhouse afterwards.

Ya because I haven't thought of that already. I'm in the blackout area and Tallahassee comcast doesn't carry FSN.

I dont know exactly how the central division was that year, but if that 2003 KC team finished with a winning record in the tougher league, I dont see why we shouldnt be optimistic about the 06 Marlins. A normal year from Cabrera along with decent years from everybody else, its not something out of reach. Im sure we have better talent than that team did, especially pitching-wise.

how about your 3-4-5 hitters tonight?

me likey that lineup. Cabs-Hammer-Jake

and don't forget about Hermida...wait till Jeremy heats up!! :thumbup

a lot better having 4 power threats...instead of last year's 2 :plain lol

I have no doubts that we're gonna see some really great pitching out of these young guys, perhaps even enough to remain truly competitive. These guys approached the plate ready to play tonight, which hugely concerned me last night but now I'm not too worried. Even Olivo has looked pretty good.

5-12, 4 homers, 7 RBI? :o

How about our leadoff man :mischief

yup, hanley can really rake. 4-5. second major league start and he already has one four hit game under his belt. :thumbup
