April 11, 200619 yr fine by me. and i like that kool aid is in against a right hander. he needs to get more at-bats. and i also want to see him be a little more aggressive. if i am not mistaken, he's only struck out once or perhaps he hasn't struck out.

April 11, 200619 yr we dont have a left fielder...if we dont have a descent lf then i would rather olivo catch for the following reasons: 1.olivo is a better catcher PERIOD. 2.as the season wears on Willly's legs will be fresher than if he caught a bunch of games, therefore his bat will be more consistent once we get a good lf then willy will catch more consistently...Call up STOKES!1!!one

April 11, 200619 yr lmao @ koolaid i rather have olivo catch and willingham LF because no one else is really producing right now in the OF except Hermida
April 11, 200619 yr Author Call up STOKES!1!!one Stokes isnt even batting half his weight right now in AAA
April 11, 200619 yr lmao @ koolaid i rather have olivo catch and willingham LF because no one else is really producing right now in the OF except Hermida So what? We arn't going to the playoffs this year, so who cares what the OF produces? Wouldn't it be more valuable to see if Willy learns to play catcher at an average clip defensively?
April 11, 200619 yr Shadez Hermida Cabs Jake Hammer Uggz Olivo Kool Aid Sergio whats with the stupid names
April 11, 200619 yr Call up STOKES!1!!one Stokes isnt even batting half his weight right now in AAA yea but he is one bad @$$ muf...he'll turn it around...Let me ask you this would you rather see reed up here or stokes/andino? imo those guys are way better

Wouldn't it be more valuable to see if Willy learns to play catcher at an average clip defensively? I'd rather have one of our better hitters play 150 games than 120 games.  The theme seems to be his bat is too valuable not to catch. I personally think his bat is too valuable to be hampered by the rigors of catching. Both now and long-term.
April 11, 200619 yr Call up STOKES!1!!one Stokes isnt even batting half his weight right now in AAA yea but he is one bad @$$ muf...he'll turn it around...Let me ask you this would you rather see reed up here or stokes/andino? imo those guys are way better which is why they'll get everyday ABs in AAA instead of sitting the bench the whole year with 100-150ABs with the big club.

April 11, 200619 yr nobody asked. so?  he plays left, his bat stays in the lineup on an everyday basis.  he catches and by late summer he is probably dead.
April 12, 200619 yr Whats the hate on Olivo for? Guy is a SOLID defensive cather... I rather have him behind the plate then Hammer... Why?? Because they we would have to start scrub Aguila in LF... Olivo has a better bat that Agulia. Plus, save HAMMER, catch him now everyday he will be DEAD by all star break!
April 12, 200619 yr The sooner Willingham learns C the better because we have some guys with good bats that play LF down on the farm right now.
