May 2, 200620 yr The only reason why I would trade Dontrelle is because he is too good to be on a team like this. He deserves so much better.
May 2, 200620 yr I'm in favor of trading you for a bag of concrete. A big bag of concrete to start buildling the new stadium. :mischief
May 2, 200620 yr I know I might get flamed for this, but I would rather keep DTrain. Personally I don't like Cabrera right now. I don't think he cares. At least Dontrelle plays with intensity and *wants* to do well. Guys like Uggla are out there working their @$$es off and are showing so much commitment. Miguel doesn't have a f***ing clue.

In a year or two this team will be competing again. He also has a pretty big part in tonight's loss. He aint no saint. We trade Dontrelle to improve our team, not because we "feel bad" for him
May 2, 200620 yr Yeah, lets trade away what is left of the franchise. We might be able to get a few choice pitching prospects in return. P.S. Did you even watch the game or did you just look at D-Trains line tonight before posting this message?

May 2, 200620 yr 7.1 IP 8ER...........it's OK to trade him now Most of which were not his fault at all and some of which he wasn't even pitching when they came in to score, they were charged to him because they were his baserunners. What a stupid, pointless thread.
May 2, 200620 yr You know I for a while was tired of hearing it too. When I went to the game everyone in the crowd was waiting for Miguelito the hero from Venezuela to do something. Well he hasn't really delivered much of anything. He's not getting the big hits, and his fielding leaves a lot to be desired. I think his work ethic is in question right now.

Love the effort Uggla.......next time dont let the runner score from FIRST BASE!!!!!!!!!! JESUS!!!!!!! :cussing

Not saying he doesn't care, because it's not like he's walking to things like he used to, but he doesn't look all there all the time.
May 2, 200620 yr It's not just Cab's playing style that makes me think he doesn't care, it's also his body weight and current size. You need agility in the infield.

Yes he is surely to blame for the dismal start........ :jackson

Sheffield-esq ala the way he played to get himself traded from Milwaukee to San Diego ? I agree -- I think he's just going through the motions at the least, and messing on purpose to force something to happen at the most.
