June 3, 200620 yr Do you think he can become a decent major league player? I am not sold on him one bit. I know that he hit that monsterous home run in Cinci but that was it. He hasnt be consistant at all. Like today, when Jeremy hit that triple Reggie jumps on the first pitch and pulls it to third. Even I know that you shouldnt do that unless you hit it over the SS or 3B mans head. I really don' t think he is going to be anything great. Whats your opinion of Reggie as of right now? I hope he suprises us and goes on a streak.
June 3, 200620 yr He shouldnt be in the majors right now but he has looked vastly improved from April to May. His plate discipline is improving (albeit he has regressed the past 3 or 4 games). He isnt going to be consistent. We can just hope he keeps improving. With the defense back, Reggie was just trying to get the ball in play and on the ground. He did the right thing but it went right to the 3B. Atleast it's nice to see him bust his ass down the line. I swear, every groundball he hits is a close play at 1B.
June 3, 200620 yr he is doing ok all things considered, he got a hit today. I dont think he is our future, but he is servicable till we get an everyday centerfielder. He does look better and better every game though, I would say he is an agon at best at the plate.
June 3, 200620 yr He's not major-league talent. Eventually he's going to start hitting under .200, and then hopefully we'll demote him, or make a move. Cody Ross deserves a shot in CF.
June 3, 200620 yr Dont bait that rabid Abercrombie fan.. I could actually see him being a fairly solid major leaguer in a few years, but yeah, right now he is still pretty raw. Right now hes the type of player that will just surprise you every now and then, in my opinion. I hope he suprises us and goes on a steak. :lol (not laughing at the fact that you made a typo, but the steak thing just seems amusing)

He doesn't have "a few years" So he shapes up or ships out by the end of the year, huh? hes 26, but hes still a rookie. if he isnt any better by next year, fine, but i think he is on the way to becoming a fringe starter or a good bench bat.
June 3, 200620 yr Reggie might wind up as utility/late inning defensive CF/pinch runner I dont see him as a future player for this team when Shock The World Part III hits
June 3, 200620 yr Look at the improvements he has made from April to May. That is all you can ask for, that he keeps improving.
June 3, 200620 yr He's definetly got the tools. He needs to learn to recognize pitches and gain some plate patience.
June 3, 200620 yr He is still extremely raw, but I think he's gonna end up a solid Major Leaguer. He looked completely overmatched in April. So bad that I thought he'd be gone before May, but he has made some major adjustments and has actually gotten some big hits for us. I still see him as a possible Preston Wilson in the future...

If the organization's options for the OF weren't so terrible, he wouldn't even have the chance he currently enjoys.
June 3, 200620 yr Holly's racist. You can obviously with her neo-nazi statements. But seriously, anything is better than that Reed fella.

June 3, 200620 yr Hollys hot. You dont find that combinattion often...hotness+love of baslbell...tats t\my dream girl
June 3, 200620 yr Watch this kid. I was sold on him in ST over the team's CFer, Reed. A blue collar player that has all the tools and is learning on a daily basis. He covers so much territory in spacious Joe Robbie CF, has a cannon for an arm, and is getting better at the plate. The remarks he generates reminds me of DLee.
