Tonight's pitching matchups:

Josh Johnson

4-3

2.42 ERA

1.10 WHIP

Josh comes into tonight's game looking to rebound from a tough loss last time out to Washington, Josh however did have a quality start last time out.

Jason Schmidt

1.03 WHIP

Jason comes into tonight's start on a two game win streak, having allowed 1 run in the past 12.7 innings pitched.

Tonight's probable lineups:

Florida:

SS Ramirez

2B Uggla

1B Jacobs

3B Cabrera

LF Willingham

RF Hermida

CF Abercrombie

C Olivo

San Francisco:

RF Winn

SS Vizquel

1B Niekro

LF Bonds

2B Durham

CF Finley

3B Feliz

C Matheny

Let's bounce back tonight and get back in the win column. Should be a great pitcher's matchup.

Argh.. I hope Reggie does something good tonight. GO MARLINS!!!

maybe Reggie will buckle down against a great pitcher like Schmidt and make up for last night's poor performance.

Those are probable lineups.

The game apparently will be on FSN -- even though my pocket schedule doesn't show it. :thumbup

Reggie can't touch good pitching

Nice game thread. Just need to edit this part. JJ is coming off a tough loss last time out to the Giants (in which is the opposing starting pitcher was, once again, Jason Schmidt). Also of interest, JJ won the award for best NL rookie for May while Schmidt won the award for best NL pitcher of May.

Hopefully Josh pitches a good game and our offense scores some runs tonight.

btw Das, i like your avator.

Will the Marlins solve The Schmidt Equation?

Can Schmidt solve Cabs, The Human Baseball Smacker?

Will Barry rinse one in the Bay?

Will JJ throw the first No-No of the year?

GO FISH!
