June 25, 200620 yr Frustrating loss but you got to tip your hat to Mussina for pitching lights out most of the day.
June 25, 200620 yr Too many. *on a + note* Atleast we had a chance to win. It wasnt like we were blown away. Gotta have hope for the future when you see us playing on the same level as the Yankees.
June 25, 200620 yr That was a frustrating game. Another 1-run loss for the Marlins. We couldn't even tie the game with a man on third.
June 25, 200620 yr i agree with Ramp, 1 run games are tough but it at least shows u were in the game for the most part. the winning streak did show that we were able to turn those games around and we will continue to do that later on in the year.
June 25, 200620 yr Damm it was just frustrating and yeasterday we looked like we was going to win Damm our pitching was there but offense wasnt we need UGGLA BACK !!!!
June 25, 200620 yr Marlins look very good this series, they just ran into some bad luck. Moose has been lights-out all season, and they rallied on Friday but ran into Rivera. Yesterday was definitely the "game to win" and I won't be surprised at all if they win tonight. I said before the series, Yanks would win Friday, Marlins on Saturday and Sunday would be a tossup (and ended up being a great pitchers duel). Not to mention this series could've been very, very different with Uggla playing.

June 25, 200620 yr Marlins playing on the same level as the Yankees??? Do some of you think at all before you write something? Are you kidding me? Just imagine a see-saw. The Marlins are Sidney Ponson and the Yankees are Eric Reed. I hate the Yankees, and love the Marlins....and I hope the Marlins win tonite's game....but in no way are they playing on anywhere near the same level. They just got a good start from Dontrelle. As for one-run games....experienced teams find ways to win these....teams with talented rookies find ways to lose them.
June 25, 200620 yr I bet if we increase payroll by $235M we can get that extra run the Yanks beat us by the first two games.
June 25, 200620 yr A $15M team loses by a run 2X to a $195M team, that's not too damn bad... George really had to spend the money to beat the FIsh
