Hotcorner
I can't even sleep at night Try listening to Dave Van Horne's radio play-by-play broadcast. Usually works for me.
83Gator
I don't know if this has been posted, and I may be wrong with my math, but under the original Wild Card rules, we would've already clinched. Since the worst we can do is a 3-way tie with Chicago and Houston, they would've first been required to play a game for the Central Division crown which would've technically been part of the regular season. The loser of that game then would've had a worse record than us so we wouldn't have to go through 1-game playoff to be the Wild Card. Wisely, they changed that rule after the first couple of years. AJBurnett34
I cant believe we might go to the playoffs after we loss 100 games in 2000 and in 2001 we only won 60 games! What a thrill this year has been! Get the Bottles poppin
Pierre4prez
I'll be at the ballpark tonight for the 4th straight night. I'm praying the Cubs win so the Fish clinch can clinch it with a win tonight, and they can all go crazy. The champagne is one ice, the goosebumps are ready to come out, let's do this. Admin
If the cubs win, don't we automatically clinch even before we play? No. We need either a Cubs or Astros loss. Cubs winning doesn't change anything for us.

JMLinkinPark
anyways, about the cubs game... Its in a rain delay.. Pittsburgh was still batting in the 1st...
Pierre4prez
What I meant was that I'd rather have the Marlins clinch it with a win rather than a Cubs loss
JMLinkinPark
well since the cubs game is delayed, and Mark Prior is Pitching for them, i doubt they'll Lose...
