I don't know if this has been posted, and I may be wrong with my math, but under the original Wild Card rules, we would've already clinched.

Since the worst we can do is a 3-way tie with Chicago and Houston, they would've first been required to play a game for the Central Division crown which would've technically been part of the regular season. The loser of that game then would've had a worse record than us so we wouldn't have to go through 1-game playoff to be the Wild Card. Wisely, they changed that rule after the first couple of years.

I cant believe we might go to the playoffs after we loss 100 games in 2000 and in 2001 we only won 60 games! What a thrill this year has been! Get the Bottles poppin

I'll be at the ballpark tonight for the 4th straight night.

I'm praying the Cubs win so the Fish clinch can clinch it with a win tonight, and they can all go crazy.

The champagne is one ice, the goosebumps are ready to come out, let's do this.

If the cubs win, don't we automatically clinch even before we play?

the astros and cubs would play for the division...then the loser would play florida for the wild card.

A cubs Loss or a Stros loss means the fish win it no matter what... why root for one to win?

As Long as we win tonight :D i dont care who wins their games...

Well, the cubs game is postponed until tomorrow, and the astros game is after our game so we can clinch with a win tonight and have a true celebration.

Get that Champagne chilled, Ramp.

It's gonna be party time in Miami tonight.
