September 7, 200619 yr Drew Stanton is a helluva QB The more I think about it, the more I agree with you. He's as good of a prospect that goes unnoticed as anyone I've seen before. He's got NFL size, good speed and a strong, accurate arm... I'm not good at projecting NFL drafts or anything, but he is an NFL QB that has to go in the first round, maybe before any other QB. Yep I wish he would of came out this year, but he does have injury questions.
September 7, 200619 yr Troy Smith, and this one isn't all that close. Keep in mind, he does what he does in that vanilla, conservative Tressel offense. Sure the spread maeks it seem liberal, but they don't take any risks outside of the bombs to Ginn. You put Smith under Weis and he'd blow away what Quinn (who got the crap kicked out of him by unraked Ga. Tech, only to have the defense save him) does.
September 7, 200619 yr I'm not sure Chris Leak will be in the first round. Or 2nd. But then, I haven't read any experts. Thats just based on my opinion of him. I don't think he'll be a first rounder. He has problems under pressure. I've watched him play. After he gets sacked or hit good one time, he's not the same for the entire game. He can't go to a team with a weak offensive line. If he does, he'll be the next Smith.
September 7, 200619 yr That was one paragraph full of contradictions right there. Glad I wasn't the only one to notice that.
September 7, 200619 yr jordan palmer is nothing more than a system qb. nowhere near as talented as carson. not anywhere close to being a first round talent. as is brady brady does have more talent than jordan though.
September 8, 200619 yr That was one paragraph full of contradictions right there. Ha, true. I can't really explain it, but Smith is just a lot better. Quinn has never impressed me, but then again, every time I watch him I think of Ron Pawlus reincarnated, so I'm biased. :lol
September 8, 200619 yr Author I'd take Leak or Rowe. In fact those are the two I want...either/or. Learn under Jake for a season or two.

September 8, 200619 yr Troy Smith is hands down the most talented QB. Smith is good but Quinn is definatly more of an athelete.
September 8, 200619 yr Troy Smith is hands down the most talented QB. Smith is good but Quinn is definatly more of an athelete. I don't think there is any way someone can say Quinn is more athletic with a straight face. A better QB? Sure you could. A better passer? Sure you could. But he is not more athletic then Smith.

September 12, 200619 yr Brady Quinn is very athletic..... the puts the time in the weight room and in the track..... There is noway Brady doesnt go #1 He was NFL ready last year and he's just gonna be even better this season..... And remember he plays in an NFL system already and the NFL coaches love that...
September 12, 200619 yr From Kiper: Quarterbacks 1. Brady Quinn, Notre Dame 2. Drew Stanton, Michigan State 3. Trent Edwards, Stanford 4. Troy Smith, Ohio State 5. Kevin Kolb, Houston I also think BOTH Jordan Palmer and Justin Zwick will get their chances. They both have too much raw talent to let slip away. Jordan is obvious, Zwick not so much.
