September 11, 200620 yr If the Fish can go 7-6 over the next thirteen, we sweep our way into the playoffs by winning our last six against Cincinnati and Philly.
September 11, 200620 yr It appears to me that there is way too much drinking of Teal Colored kool-aid happening with the posters on this board. Either that or the things we hear in the Midwest about the quality of drugs in Miami are all true. Please, put away the Kool-aid and share some realistic predictions. GO FISH!! most predictions had us realistically winning about 50 games...its baseball...ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN Good point, please pass the kool-aid this way!!!! GO FISH!! I agree 100% 19-0.

I don't know if that is possible because if we got 17-2 that means we beat the Phils a bunch of times. 16-3? 15-4? I just see some crazy last-minute thing happening -- like a tie. And I forgot about San Fran. Could be still be a 2- or 3-way tie. What happens then? Playoff? Best head-to-head takes it? Best record vs. NL teams takes it? There are provisions for 3 and 4 way ties. I'm not sure about a 5 way tie. With three teams it would come down to the team with the best record against the others geting a bye. In a 4 team playoff it comes down to 2 playoff games. but what if it was a tie for the WC. when teams had the same records..then what?
September 11, 200620 yr 12-7, possibly 13-6. I think it also depends on how the padres are doing. If they start slumping then the marlins will try that much harder to catch them. If the padres start pulling away then the team might pack it in the last few games. IMO

September 12, 200620 yr Looks like we are starting 1-0 as long as we hold on. We will be just 2 games back in 3 innings.

September 12, 200620 yr For the month of September, the FISH are an oustnading 8-3. That translates to a .727 winning percentage. If we continue that pace throught the remainder of the regular season, we win 13 of the final 18 and end the season 86-76. While I understand that is VERY optimistic given the schedule, I just keep on drinking my teal colored kool-aid, reminding myself of where the FISH are after a questionable start. Here's looking for @ least two winning streaks of @ 4 games between now and the end of the season, coupled with NO back-to-back losses!!! We will need to add some re-enforcements; the bandwagon will be over-flowing!!!
September 12, 200620 yr we will have to win at least 84 to get in.. and thats a bare minimum.. 85-86 preferrably!
