February 2, 200718 yr Yes Holly, they always have players there. They just never tell you in advance which ones. Link to the Official Site's Caravan info page

February 2, 200718 yr You're welcome. Speaking of which... This stop is right by my office. I outta buy me some balls this weekend. Where exactly is that? Northpoint Pkwy is right off 45th Street, just west of I-95. There's two other stops in PBC; all in the same day. Check the link I added to my first post. The Lake Worth one might be closer to you.
February 2, 200718 yr im so upset right now knowing im going to miss fanfest next saturday. i look forward to this every year.
February 3, 200718 yr Yeah I am going to the Stevie Tomatoes' stop in Naples. They came last year also.
February 3, 200718 yr Author Do the players have pictures/cards for them to sign or do we have to bring our own?
February 3, 200718 yr that Comcast Center is not too far away from me, but i'll be working though. Hopefully if everything sticks to plan, I'll still be going to Fan Fest.
February 3, 200718 yr Oh wow, that Comcast Center is literally right down the street from my parents house. It's too bad I'm all the way in Boston... Oh well at least there's still Spring Training games when I'm on my Spring Break!
February 4, 200718 yr that Comcast Center is not too far away from me, but i'll be working though. Hopefully if everything sticks to plan, I'll still be going to Fan Fest. Speaking of FanFest... We just got our VIP passes this week. And the letter says we can get some more at the event for others that "may be interested in obtaining season tickets" for this coming season. This is the first time in many years we have actually recieved the passes BEFORE FanFest. We have been having to pay for parking and pick them up there. I know it's only $5 but it's the spirit of the thing. The feeling towards season ticket holders is very different this year. About time.
February 4, 200718 yr Author Guys - Will the players have something for them to sign at the place or do we bring our own stuff?
February 4, 200718 yr Guys - Will the players have something for them to sign at the place or do we bring our own stuff? The few times I've gone in the past, they have had little 5x7 cards with the Marlins logo to be signed. I assume it'll be the same this year
February 4, 200718 yr Marlins' caravan to make area stops Special to the Palm Beach Post Sunday, February 04, 2007 Marlins players and executives are scheduled to make four appearances in Palm Beach County on Tuesday as part of the team's annual pre-season promotional caravan. Three appearances are open to the public: Comcast Call Center in West Palm Beach from 1-2 p.m., the BankUnited branch at 5764 Jog Road in Lake Worth from 3-4 p.m. and at JJ Mugs restaurant next to Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter from 6:30-8 p.m. A fourth stop is not open to the public - a private appearance with the West Boynton Beach Little League from 5-6 p.m. Team officials were not certain Friday which players and executives would appear in Palm Beach County. The caravan starts Monday in Miami and concludes Saturday with FanFest at Dolphin Stadium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. FanFest will include autograph and photograph sessions, interactive games, tours of the clubhouse and press box and an annual Town Hall meeting. It's also the first chance to purchase individual game tickets, which also will go on sale at www.floridamarlins.com that morning. FanFest admission is free, but parking is $5. You will get a $5 parking voucher which can be used for $5 off an individual game ticket. If you don't use it on a ticket purchase, the $5 will be donated to the Florida Marlins Community Foundation. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/conte...aseru_0204.html
February 6, 200718 yr A little update: Players were serving food at Tamiami Park in Southwest Miami (park right next to FIU) earlier this evening. I don't know who the players were but I'll try to find out when my dad comes home.
February 6, 200718 yr Alright I got some confirmation. It was Scott Olsen, Ricky Nolasco, and Miguel Olivo.
February 6, 200718 yr From the Comcast Call Center in West Palm Beach, just a little while ago: "Every day I get in the queue... to get on the bus that takes me to you..." Billy is the first one out, and boy is he glad to see me... And there they are... the Players! JJ, Eric, Logan, Dino, Jerms... Ready for action! http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/8717/11bb2.jpg http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/6377/12uc6.jpg "Dude, where's the friggin' bathroom??" http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/6514/patchks4.jpg The new patch, in all its tangerine glory. By the way -- this is the card they give out to have autographed: http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/5260/autocardkh6.jpg So, if you're picky about what to get signed, you better bring your own. Enjoy.
February 6, 200718 yr kool pics. Wish I could of been there, but I had school (such a waste of time).
February 6, 200718 yr Really cool. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow at the "Cafecito Con Marlins" stop in South Miami. I must say, that is some badass facial hair on JJ.
