I appreciate what Dontrelle did when he came up in '03 and then had his 22 wins season. But I think economically, DTrain will be gone. If keeping Cabs long term means trading Willis to free up money and in return get some prospects that may help the team for another run in the new ballaprk, then it just seems like a baseball business decision to do it. If Loria had deep pockets in an ideal world, we'd have Willis, Cabs locked up and be playing in a park already

I'd like him to spend his career with the Fish, but if we were offered a really good trade from another team for him I would be all for trading him or anyone else for that matter. Whether he's a Marlin or not he'll definitely be one of my favorite players.
