In my opinion, American Football should be called either American Football or handball, or armball, or something else, since most of it isnt even played with the foot.

July 20, 200719 yr Author For all the non trolls, it was a nice event even though the music they played was quite clown shoes. Is ESPN or ABC televising the first friendly with Chelsea or is it on FSC? Sorry But seriously, i just cant see soccer ever being big, no matter how much they ram beckham down our throats. It certainly doesn't help when people like you don't even give it a chance.. I understand if you hate soccer though, but hopefully this catches on and we can get more stars to come to the US I think the game is on ESPN I played soccer all the way through HS.. I've given it a chance... its just boring to watch and not enough scoring. Simple as that. I get in to soccer.. just once every four years. I can never seeing it get past that. I don't know.... just watch one Premier League or Serie A game this year.... you don't need a goal everytime down the pitch for something to be exciting

Anyone happen to know if Chelsea has their real roster in LA for this game? It'd be an interesting gauge of the level of MLS compared to one of the best club teams in the world...even if it is a preseason game for them.

July 20, 200719 yr Soccer is more exciting than baseball and most NBA games. I think its more exciting than all nba games. The good thing about soccer is that if you get a boring game, it ends in 90 min. A boring baseball game last over 3 hours.

Becks, Donavan, Pavon, and Xavier are all good players. But yeah he will be the center of attention, and Donavan was the last to figure it out after he was called off on that last coner by Beckham who came across the field to take it. lol
