June 5, 200818 yr So close but hell of a try. Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings and all their faithful fans.
June 5, 200818 yr even after losing Game 5, I still thought Detroit was the stronger team. That makes the 5000th Stanley Cup title for them! Good to see Pittsburgh make the finals though.
June 5, 200818 yr But as for how the series turns out, barring some sort of inpsired play thing, I can't see the Pens taking more than 2 games this series... I hate being right sometimes :confused
June 5, 200818 yr Author There were only two things that surprised me tonight... Tomas Holmstrom has won 4 cups what???? I thought he had only been in the NHL for like.. 4 or 5 years lol. Does anyone else ever get that, in any sport? Someone you just managed to miss throughout history? And anyways, another thing that shocked me was Nicklas Lidstrom's accent... he sounds pure Canadian... I couldnt believe it...
June 5, 200818 yr With that said, it's the offseason again. :confused Make some moves, Cats. :mis2 :thumbup Congrats to the Detroit Red Wings organization, and the Pens fans, who I thought were great tonight, especially after the game.
