That was the WORST Save ever. They need to keep track of that stat differently. I think they should have a save and a non-save. Like if you let the Winning Run come to the plate at any point during your save opportunity then it should be a non-save and a save should be when the pitcher never faces the winning run in a game that they lead by 2 runs or less.

Yep, same here. Nice to get such an exciting win after an extremely frustrating loss last night, and what was an extremely frustrating game until Dan Uggla's base clearing double.

This is true Erick always give a great battle not once did I say this game was over now.... I did have to leave the chat room when Gregg had one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, but other then that, Dan Uggla proving he belongs in the All-Star game same with Ramirez.

Ellis might have scored because of the large foul territory over there...but either way it probably ends with a play at the plate...

It would have been worse. We were up by 3 and would have seen our closer single-handedly give the game away by not throwing strikes.

 

And the runners were going on the 3-2 pitch, I fully feel we would have lost if that ball had gotten past him.

This loss would've been worse than yesterday's. Much worse.

It was "oh sh*t!" for a split second and then it became "hell yeah!"

Anyway, We got 40th win tonight.

Yea, I think the more interesting question is what would Helms have done? I doubt Jacobs is playing first that deep into the game in a National league game, Helms would have replaced him, and don't think Wes has the kind of quickness to get to a ball like that.

I dont feel last night was the most frusterating loss of the year probably 3rd.

 

There was a game in New York earlier when Amezaga hit a solo shot in the 11th I believe and I for sure thought we were going to take it, only see Gregg or Miller come on to blow it can't remember that was the most frusterating loss for me.
