Lo Duca would be a great addition he is absolutely killing the ball in triple A, bring him up!

:banghead

Catcher is not a weakness right now, and there's no way I want Lo Duca in the outfield.

brad penny giving up 3 2 out 2 run homers......and i truly beleive a guy like paul lo duca can fit in left and he is the exact type of guy u want in that situation.....he puts the damn ball in play

Willingham put the ball in play, too.

Fact is, Lo Duca doesn't get the ball out of the infield very often...I doubt he would've faired better, especially against Perez, who was throwing 97.

I stated this earlier, but I will again.

With bases loaded this year, in a very very small sample size, LoDuca walked once and grounded out four times.

ok fine put mcpherson in left

A couple weeks ago, EVERYONE wanted McPherson at 3B, Cantu at 1B, and Jacobs gone. Now Jacobs is the hot hand, and it's all good.

I'm not saying I'm not worried about Willingham, but can we calm down with all these moves?

I mean, seriously...if it was up to 50% of the board, Ricky Nolasco would've been in the bullpen a couple months ago. Kevin Gregg would've been...well, everyone hated him (he's replaceable, but you'd think Gregg was Jorge Julio after the Colorado series...no more complaints now).

This is what we got.

There is NO CLEAR UPGRADE. What you see is what you get. And Willingham is going to stay, b/c he's earned that respect from the organization. It's the same Willingham who came up with many clutch hits last year, and the same Willingham who was doing fine, before going on the DL.

He's not going anywhere, yet.

+1

The only guy to worry about between pitching and position players is Willingham, and only because he is most likely playing through injury.

This was NOTHING like Monday night. 6-9 with RISP tonight. Yeah, we grounded out with bases loaded twice, but do you really expect us, or any team for that matter, to get them in every time? Besides that one play where Noly didn't cover 1B, did you see anything were we made a stupid mistake? Of course not. Sensationalism at it's best.

Ridiculousness.

It was a loss, but this was NOTHING at all like Monday.

Stop denying the fact that this team sucks huge donkey balls with RISP, Rabert. They can hit home runs but they can't hit a deep fly ball to score a run from 3b. Go figure.

All, "Rabert" is saying is that the team hit .666 (6-9) with .RISP tonight. That's a fact.

It's also a fact that Willingham and Gonzo choked.

Well, tomorrow is another day. Lets hope the phils lose today, currently up 6-4, so we dont lose any ground

We cannot keep losing games and hope for other teams to lose.

i agree with the part about losing games, but i disagree with the part about hoping the other team to lose. Do you want them to win and run away with the division?

I actually don't.

We played .500 ball on the road against the teams we're chasing, which is normally solid, for most. And we've lost 2 of 3 to the Cardinals.

Is it very good? No.

Is it very bad? No.

Split with the Cardinals tomorrow, and take at least 2 of 3 from the Cubs and the team goes 7-6 in its toughest 2 week stretch of the season.

hey ys i had fun even though we loss. we got a free ball, met rich and tommy and felo ramirez. players we met where uggla hanley and yadier molina. loss was dissapointing but the marlin fans where great. hope we get em 2morrow....oh and bench hammer :thumbup

I am going to break my norm and predict a win Thursday night. This team just WILL NOT ruin my day. I get to close up the shop a few hours early AND we have on field passes for BP. It's going to be a fun day all around. Call Vegas and get your bets in now. It's a win.

driving in runs!!! we need to drive htem in!

We are lucky that the Phillies blew their game.

the team needs to dig deep and win tonights game then get 2 from 3 at the weekend against the cubs

that sound pretty obvious but i cannot emphasise how much this team needs to get some form of winning streak going

basically since the AS break it has been win one, lose one, win one, lose one

that aint gonna get us to the promised lands of october

giving hammer 3 or 4 days rest might help but if it dosent off to the land of the Isotope Josh and call up Dino or Dallas

also freakin justin miller needs to be called down he hasen been ding so well as of late

that was my big problem miller. To me hes just a long reliever not a situational guy and ive never really liked him that much and i knew fredi was gonna get him in soon seeing him warm up th elast few days but why in a crucial situation. According to fredi on 790 u have to keep using a reliver when hes strugling to show u have confidence in him so expect to see more of miller i guess. Would have been nice to have doug w there.

Yea last year he was good this year hes struggled. I guees the only other option for fredi was lindstrom whos been used 2 days in a row or logan.

Yeah, there really was no better choice.

Lindstrom was probably off-limits today, due to pitching 3 of the previous 4 days. Kensing sucks. Nelson is just as bad with inherited runners, especially Pinto's. Rhodes can't pitch righties, Hendrix isn't made for that role and pitched a couple innings the day before. Gregg is the closer.

I miss Waechter already.

He is saying we cannot continue to count on the Phillies and Mets to lose we have to take care of our own business, you misunderstood.
