They will be more scared than we will. o man its exactly like wilma pluses no school or work for 2-3 days minuses it might destroy parts of florida and parts of our houses Are you kidding if that thing hits us like the models say it will, as a major hurricane, forget about no school for about 2-3 days, how about no power for 2-3 weeks, school being canceled for an indefinite amount of time and you having to make it up, people losing their homes, disaster everywhere. There are no pluses with a hurricane of this magnitude. You beat me to the punch. We live in Pembroke Pines. When we got Wilma, a Cat 1, we were without power for 6 days. And- the only reason we were up & running before tons of others is because we're on the same grid as the PPines Police & Fire Dept. Remember- all essential services get priority over everything else. Hopefully a good thing is, most gas stations have their own generators, so gas (as long as it lasts) will be available. Get tarps or Visqueen now- these are coverings in case windows/roof is compromised. Everyone- be safe!! yea but we dont get the eye the way it is going thats a plus because our power may go out and might be out for a day or 3 and our homes only loose a few tiles on the roof rather then getting hitt bye the eye where everything would becoma a disaster Key west looks like it gonna get destroyed though Lets Just Pray we dont get it bad

September 8, 200817 yr Author So sad for the people in the Turks & Caicos and for Cuba. Plus, all of the other small islands along the way. These people have gotten slammed but good 3 times so far: Fay, Gustav & Ike. Pray for the people in the Gulf Coast.

I'm kind of an assistant to one of the lawyers, but I really just scan all of his case files and stuff. He has his own secretary too so my duties are really just to scan whatever papers he gives me, and when I have nothing to scan I am usually just on the internet. its a pretty chill job. just a part time thing while I am still a college student. but yeah, my dad was a hialeah cop for 25 years. he retired last november and is now working in Doral's new department. My dad was a lieutenant in the homicide department.
