September 2, 200817 yr exciting, two hurricanes which will give us atleast TS effects within a week apart from eachother, one(two really) possibly giving us hurricane force winds. Exciting.

I remember, back in the day, when we had the workdays taken away and STILL had to average and bubble in grades - while the students were in school. Can you say, "Blockbuster"? :confused Personally, I'm praying they cancel, or at least postpone Open House. Elementary school Open House is slated for this coming Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. And the School Board meeting where they are supposed to present the final budget before the state steps in is on Wednesday, Sept 10
