Kinsley is older than Pedroia and he has been better than Kinsler both this year and in his rookie year last year. Plus, Kinsler might aswell play the field with a lead glove and plays in a little league park.

HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! HAHA! (I only did that because you asked me to). Punto sucks, first off. This is the first season in his 7 years that he's been anywhere near average. Plus, he's a backup! He's not even a 2nd baseman! He only started 23 games at 2B this year and all of them where because their everyday 2B, Alexi Castilla, was on the DL. As soon as he came back, Puntolicious was right back where he belongs, on the pine pony. When Alexi Castilla blocks you from being the everyday 2B, you aren't good. Also, I don't think Cano is better than Uggla but I can see the argument for it. This year has been absolutely terrible for him, though. But really, it is hard to take the argument of someone who puts Punto in the top 6 of a position he doesn't play. (Top 6 bench players?) yes, i have major man love for Punto

I am not surprised people do not mention Cano because he has had an off year. I bet at this time last year u were sayin he was the best 2nd baseman in the MLB. Kinsler is good, but i feel this is the best he is going to get. From here i feel he will stay consistent but never reach those kind of stats again, Pedroia is just going to get better with age umm, kinsler is only a year older than pedroia. roberts is still top 5 because even though he doesn't hit the sexy homeruns everyone likes seeing he still has a good average, good defense, and a high number of steals, and a decent number of RBI at the leadoff spot

September 6, 200817 yr The one biggest gripe I have against Uggla is that he's simply not a very smart guy. He has made some head scratching decisions on the baseball field to be sure. I'm not really fond of that type of ball player at all.

That said, Luis could never give us the offensive numbers that Uggla gave us, but he was awesome. Also, that .334 AVG and .418 OBP was really a one time thing. His OBP as a Marlin is .370. .293/.370/.400 are his Marlins career numbers, btw.

You need to realize to think with your head, not with emotion. I love Jason Wood and Sergio Mitre, but that doesn't make them the best 1B and SP in baseball history respectively.

Its a shame his speed disappeared a bit because of it, though he was still fast, just not nearly as fast as when he first came into the league. But he was a fundamentally sound player and a smart baseball player, and also a very unselfish baseball player.
