Dallas Trahern (who is now healthy, has changed his grip, and added two additional pitches) will push to make the Marlins out of Spring Training. While he probably wont make it out of Spring Training, many who questioned his ability last year will be totally stoked about his future. Oh and the Marlins will be in the pennant race going into September!

Oh and the Marlins will be in the pennant race going into September! Amezaga will fail to take 300 Plate Apps for the first time since joining the Fish. (EB) :whistle Nolasco will match or better 15 wins, and so will JJ. Miller will continue to develop well. ^ optimistic about pitching, but I think we fall just short of the playoffs lacking consistency all around. Gaby's OPS will be less than Jacobs' was, but he won't give us migraines. Hermida?! :blink:

February 12, 200917 yr Uggla has an off year. Uggla is traded at the dealine. Hermida hits for a high .800 OPS. Nolasco has a era over 4.5. The Marlins average attendance will be over 20,000.
February 12, 200917 yr Jeremy Hermida will have a breakout year. Dan Uggla gets traded by the trade deadline b/c the organization is in love with "Bonerface." Nolasco and JJ will be one of the best 1-2 punches in the NL, pending they stay healthy. Anibal Sanchez will struggle. Andrew Miller will improve. Chris Volstad will disappoint. Cameron Maybin will hit about .260-.270...he'll post about 50 SB, though. The bullpen, led by Matt Lindstrom, will be better than expected.

February 12, 200917 yr I'd say Hermida goes on to have a terrific year. The Marlins once again break their HR record, despite all the talk about their offense not being as potent. One of the guys in our staff gets a CY Young (JJ maybe?) Hanley gets a triple crown and MVP

Also, my "Left Field" prediction is Gaby Sanchez will have the 2nd highest OBP on the team (Behind Hanley) and, my bonus pick is Hanley hitting 4 home runs in a game
