so what, errors are errors. Just because they don't count doesnt make them any less than an error. You might argue that they are not trying because its spring training or that they are just rusty but i dont see other teams committing this amount of errors despite the fact that they have been away baseball just as much as the marlins. In addition, gaby sanchez, who is fighting for a position, has committed two errors in four games i believe, which, in my opinion, is worrisome.

Hermida with another hit! I hope this is a sign of what's to come this season!

i am worry too their not getting better as their play more games this games are for getting in shape for season this marlins team not showing their getting out pitch and error been going up

Also...some of you seem to think this is going to be a very good defensive team...it won't be. It improved, sure, but it's still average, at best.

That's b/c Beinfest didn't improve this team in the offseason, as much as some people like to believe.

 

For some reason, Emilio Bonifacio has some excited for a new era of defense.

Besides, major league players are generally expected to at least play a competent defense.

Doesn't matter. 13 errors in 5 games is ridiculous. And most of them are being made by guys who are going to be on the team.

I really think Dallas has a shot at the first base job. Sanchez is 0-10 with a couple errors.

It still early but so far gaby isnt helping himself. Also i think we can keep Gaby in aaa. at least theats what marlinslou wants to do i think.

Havent we seen this before....De Aza starting to get a few hits in ST.

2 run triple just there to reduce the deficit to 11-10

sanchez was known for his good defense at first so this is very surprising and who knows maybe he is really pressing......i know from experience that when your nervous and know you need to impress the easiest plays seem impossible.

 

as for andrew miller......i would give up on him before hermida and dont forget hermida hit 18 and 17 home runs last two season....not stellar for anything else last year but it still shows something.
