FSFlorida televising Saturday's game

Featured Replies

I got this from Fox Sports Florida today, thought I'd share it with you all:

FOX Sports Florida will televise the Florida Marlins @ Minnesota Twins Spring Training game live and statewide on Saturday, March 14 at 1pm.

Below are a few unique enhancements TV viewers will enjoy:

* Fans will see a special ?shared? telecast with FOX Sports North as the Fish take on the Twins.

* Twins television voice Dick Bremer will join Tommy Hutton in the broadcast booth during the 1st ? 3rd innings and will re-join Hutton for the last three innings of the telecast.

* Rich Waltz calling the play-by-play action during the 4th ? 6th innings.

* Analyst Burt Blyleven was previously scheduled to appear but as pitching coach for the Netherlands in the WBC he will be at Saturday?s match-up at Dolphin Stadium.

* When Waltz is not in the booth, he and Twins? analyst Ron Coomer will interview players from the team dugouts.

* Waltz returns later this week from Puerto Rico, fresh from calling several games for television during the WBC .

heh, I remember Coomer with the Twins and Yankees. Didn't know what he was up to these days

Nice, looking forward to checking this out. Talk about horrible timing though, isn't the WBC in Miami going on at the same time as this?

hah I love how they had Blyleven scheduled, probably thinking the Netherlands wouldnt make it past the first round.

Who's scheduled to pitch for the Marlins?

Edit: Forget it. Just saw on the official site that it'll be Andrew Miller, getting the start.

I haven't seen him pitch yet this year. I would really like to check out that new delivery he is working on. Just not so sure I will be home in time to see the game. Probably have to watch it later.

nice to see a MARLIN spring training game on tv

Why?? Just look at the stats. That's how you decide who should make the team.

Oh wait.........

That was a sweet comeback. The farmhands really impressed me late in the game, especially Cousins. I'm feeling better about the future.

Which is the next game that will be televised? I tried finding the thread that said the two televised games but I couldn't find it.

How is that a reply to his question?

M.F.S. answers

In that manner which suits him

He does what he wants

This may seem quite weird

In the eyes of Rabb and me

But I doubt he'll stop
