TV Question

Tonight's game is not being televised in Miami, but will the New York broadcast be available through DirecTV Extra Innings package. It is a free preview week and since there is no local broadcast, this should be available, right?

This is a good question. Not sure. We were wondering the same thing but couldn't find the game listed.

The NY broadcast will pick up the game at 7:00 PM on the dot. Game starts at 6:00 but wont be broadcasted because of FOX black out.

Yeha but my extra innings thing isnt showing the game on the guide at 7.

Why is the Fox Blackout in effect if Fox isn't even airing the game today. I understand the blackout when the game is televised locally.

There is a game on @ 4pm. Its a late game.

What I dont understand is the fact that several of the afternoon games that fall within the FOX window are available on MLB.tv from the beginning yet our game wont be viewable until after the window ends.

The Mets-Marlins game actually begins at 6:25, but due to the MLB on FOX national blackout, it cannot be shown live on MLB.TV until FOX's specified three-hour blackout window is over at 7:05. MLB on FOX is every Saturday this season starting with today, and whichever game FOX gets, that is declared a three-hour national blackout window due to rightsholder restrictions. FOX is broadcasting three regional games, all with 4:05 starts.

I heard you can see the game on that "View all games Window". The oen where theres liek 10 games going on at once. Small, but that with the radio and your good to go.

You can also just follow it online and maybe catch up on reading.

yeah and looking at the schedule is this not the only 6:10 start for a saturday game so we will have this issues several times. Very ****** annoying.

I love that 6:10 start on Saturdays. Fits my schedule perfectly. And glancing at the after game concerts makes it even better. I won't miss a thing when I leave after the last out.
