Proctor suffers setback

Featured Replies

Scott Proctor (elbow) suffered a setback while throwing a side session at Dolphin Stadium on Monday.

Proctor will pay a visit to Dr. James Andrews early next week, and we all know what that could mean. His elbow hasn't improved since his October surgery. "I have no idea [what's wrong]," he said Tuesday. "At this point right now, we'll go for the evaluation and see what happens, and go from there."

The Marlins were hoping that Proctor wasn't badly damaged goods. Looks like that didn't pan out. Wonder if they will get someone to "replace" Proctor now, or at the trade deadline.

Yikes, a visit to Dr. Andrews always smells like Tommy John surgery. Needless to say, if that's the case we may never see Proctor in a Marlins uniform.

Let's sign Keith Foulke? Derrick Turnbow? Mike Timlin? Alex Fernandez?

Alex Fernandez is way past baseball shape. I saw him last year at the MLB Draft, and he has completely exploded.
