July 4, 200917 yr Wow is right---- Sad. Couldn't even enjoy the money he literally fought for every snap. He played through everything, a great pro.
July 4, 200917 yr Author http://www.officialstevemcnair.com/ One of the best off the field players there was. Always was one of the hardest workers on and off the field, basically did the same for his community as we see Wade doing nowadays. Fact: McNair is one of three QB's in history to throw for 30,000 yards and rush for 3500 yards, the others are Tarkenton and Young. Reports are sketchy, will post when I get a clear consensus of what in fact led to his death.
July 4, 200917 yr Shocking news. RIP Steve. I hope they catch the motherf*cker that shot him and make his/her life a living hell.
July 5, 200917 yr Wow he was shot in the head. He was agreat player and i just saw a touching story about him and his mom who was a single mother, worked 2 shifts a day and how when McNair was drafted he sent her a letter telling her she didn't have to work anymore. R.I.P. Steve "Air" McNair.
July 5, 200917 yr NASHVILLE, Tennessee (BNO NEWS) -- Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was found dead in downtown Nashville on Saturday afternoon, police officials told BNO News. A deceased female friend was also found. The bodies were found shortly before 1 p.m. by a friend of McNair, according to police spokesman Don Aaron. The bodies were found inside the living room of a condominium at 2nd Avenue South and Lea Avenue. According to Aaron, the female friend was identified as Sahel Kazemi, a 20 year-old female. The medical examiner staff determined that McNair was shot "multiple" times but officials did not say how many. Kazemi was found with a single gunshot wound to the head. Autopsies are expected to be conducted on Sunday. It is not exactly clear what happened at the condominium. One witness told police that McNair arrived at the condominium in the early morning hours of Saturday. Kazemi's vehicle, according to the witness, was already there when he arrived. A pistol was recovered close to Kazemi's body but, as of Saturday evening, police officials have not yet confirmed it was a murder-suicide. McNair jointly rented the condominium with his friend and sporting goods dealer Wayne Neeley. Neeley arrived at the condominium shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday and found both McNair and Kazemi shot. Neeley first telephoned McNair's friend, Robert Gaddy, who immediately came to the scene. It was Gaddy who placed the call to police at 1.35 p.m. It was not immediately clear why police were not immediately called, or if one of the victims was still alive when Neeley arrived on the scene. Steve McNair was married to Mechelle McNair and, although there was no official word, The Tennessean newspaper reported that McNair had been dating Kazemi for several months. Last Thursday, Kazemi was arrested for DUI while driving a 2007 Cadillac Escalade registered to both her and McNair. McNair was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, which took place at around 1.20 a.m. on 9th Avenue and Broadway. McNair was deemed to be not in violation of the law and left the scene by taxi. Metro Police Homicide detectives are continuing with their investigation. http://www.bnonews.com/news/420.html
July 5, 200917 yr Wow, Death is on a roll lately. Seriousely, R.I.P Steve Mcnair. I wore his jersey all day today in his memory.
July 6, 200916 yr Man, that's a shame. I always liked him when I was a kid, he was supposed to be the next great Oilers QB before they moved away, and I rooted for him in the Super Bowl.
