July 12, 200917 yr Piano (18 years) Tuba (11 years) Trombone (10 years) Bass Trombone (9 years) Baritone (9 years) Don't play much of the last 4 anymore, although I am still somewhat capable. Still play piano on occasion, but I can definitely bang out some tunes. I just sold my tuba fairly recently (it helped pay for my engagement ring!)
July 12, 200917 yr Have played tenor saxophone for about 14 years. I got an electric guitar a couple years ago and learned four chords, for some reason I couldn't progress beyond that. I'm pretty good at the penny whistle and harmonica. Also sang baritone in high school.
July 12, 200917 yr I used to play the Drums, I was very good too. I have not been on a drum set for a few years now. I live in a Flat now, so I cant really drum like I used to b/c of the noise, but some day, some day I will play again.

On guitar, I learned a ton of songs, I used a lot of my free time learning songs out of boredom. A lot of Metallica and other stuff I learned heard on the radio. I knew a bunch of Beatles songs, since that's what my guitar teacher used to start on. Also quite a bit of classical guitar. My favorite thing to play was always Classical Gas by Mason Williams, but I can't really get far into it anymore before I forget what I'm doing.

I used to know a guy in high school who played a ton of instruments because his parents owned an instrument shop.
July 13, 200917 yr Of course! I dont know if you all know each other, but thought I should respond. I play drums and percussion, and all of the wind and string instruments.

July 13, 200917 yr I play drums. I can play some songs on piano. If I listen to a song enough I can figure it out. Like "Amazing" from Kanye West ft. Young Jeezy. lol I love the piano on that song, so I had to figure it out. I can play rhythm a bit on guitar set on drop D. And I can play basic power chords. Same goes for the bass. I used to play most percussion instruments in middle school from the "concert band". Like the big bass drum, snare, those bells, and random other stuff. I was born with a metronome built in. Both of my parents are musicians (had a record out in the 80s, and used to perform at every calle ocho, opa-locka festival, and Hialeah Festival throughout the 90s). Most of my family members are musically inclined. Except for my cousin Andrew(forum member "fluxuation"). lol
July 14, 200917 yr None for me. My lack of rhythm is quite amazing, it's like I don't even here the music. My dad tried to teach me guitar but I couldn't get it. I also can't dance to save my life because I have no rhythm. I'm pretty amazed by anyone who can play an instrument well.
