anyone know when donnelly will be back? i know he pitched a couple rehab games but will he be back tuesday?

And Dukes has been great today. But Pinto is a professional tightrope walker, so I trust he will get out of this with a lead.

because he is a mjor league pitcher who should be able to complete an inning. that and kiko has nt been as sharp either, and not pitching him here when he already had 2 outs is ok in my book.

Tim Wood and Cristhian Martinez are also major league players, but I wouldn't want them in a close game in the 8th either. Pinto has been very bad this year in high leverage and generally puts a ton of guys on-base. That's not what you want in a close game against a team that can rake.

 

Kiko, on the other hand, hasn't given up a run since August 27th. He only has a 1.176 WHIP in that time as well.
