wrist injuries can be a bitch. cantu had 7 homeruns in the first month before being hit by daniel cabrera. i think a full offseason of rest will put him back on track next season for 20-25 homeruns (hopefully in a marlins uni)

Yea. That's why I really hope the Marlins resign Johnson. I hear that he wants a multi-year contract though (which the Marlins probably won't give him,) but given how prone he is to injury, maybe he'll have to reconsider. A full season with NJ (if he stays healthy) would really help this team

nick johnson has been a great mid season pick up but i think morrison will be ready next season to take over at 1B. you never know though, management might finally be willing to dish out some money to keep our core in tact for a couple season to see if we can win

you're probably right especially since morrison missed some of the season due to injury but i still doubt nick johnson is retained. i'm thinking we sign troy glaus cheap and try him out and then maybe trade him during the season for some minor leaguers and give morrison a shot if we're out of contention.
