I decided to take Schnellders idea of doing the ST games by week, since these games aren't usually busy enough to support it's own thread.

After the winter he had that's not surprising plus Maybin still isn't 100%. I would bet during the last two weeks of spring training after they've thinned out the herd you'll see him pretty much every game for at least an at bat or two to determine how much they can count on him in "real game" situations.

Petersen homered to tie it a few minutes ago. It's 1-1 Bot 4

Anibal allowed 1 ER in 2 IP. Nats were 3 for 3 on steals vs Anibal and Paulino.

 

VandenHurk pitched 2 scoreless innings striking out 2 while walking one and allowing one hit.

It's 1-1 going to the 5th. Waiting to see who will be pitching now.

Is that something to worry about regarding the 3/3 SBs against Sanchez/Paulino?

 

Obviously it is a problem we had last year but do they treat things like that differently at this early point of ST?

Seth McClung now pitching

1-2-3 inning for McClung. Headed to Bot 5 with a 1-1 tie

Great, Bonifacio has begun the Spring with 2 K's

After a Paulino double to make it 2nd and 3rd no outs, Mike Lamb is now PH for McClung who is done after his great one inning of work.

RBI single for Lamb, 2-1 Fish Bot 5! 1st and 3rd no outs for Bonifacio

Bonifacio fails to bring home the run by popping out on a bunt attempt.

Petersen brings home a run on a fielders choice. 3-1 Fish now

Hanley pops out. Going to the 6th it is 3-1 fish.

Tank is coming in to pitch

Jesus Christ...Bonifacio lol...I'm really gunning for him to do well, but, this cant go on longer than the first month of the season with him. If it does, its time he gets cute without the e.

What I'm really paying attention the most during ST is pitching. So far it has looked great, but ofcourse theirs alot of game to be played. Also, keep an eye on Jimenez and Lamb fighting for the bench spot.
