Most people here in AZ were glad to see him go... Especially since Danny Bautista turned it up a notch after he got here.
November 18, 200322 yr well fox did a good job for us in 2002. we could have used him for the league minimum price
November 18, 200322 yr Andy did a fine job, but we needed to save money at the least important roster spots (bench) Good luck!
November 18, 200322 yr Good Luck Andy, I will cheer you when you make the club and play against the Marlins ( here in PPS )
November 18, 200322 yr Author A decent bench player, I would rather have Mordy too. I think it was just that Fox was too expensive. Thanks for the memories, Foxy.
November 18, 200322 yr too expensive? rangers got him for less than league minimun because he got a minor league contract. how expensive is that?
November 18, 200322 yr Geez, he was a slap hitting bench player. A likable guy, but come on!! A lot of the local fans seem to be a little too resistant to changes. It probably has to do with the way this team has been mishandled in the past. But let's get a grip, people are going to come and go.
November 18, 200322 yr Great UT guy. Great base stealer. Good Luck to him, but hardly a free agent "loss."
November 18, 200322 yr Author too expensive? rangers got him for less than league minimun because he got a minor league contract. how expensive is that? I was assuming of course that he WOULDN'T be re-signed to a minor-league contract.
