Yep. If the Marlins can just be at worst case only 4 out of the NL East and or NL Wild Card by Spet 1st they be in good shape. Better than the 7 back in the NL East and 7 back in the NLWild Card.

the next 2 games are huge. the net 2 weeks are huge really with the level of teams we are playing. i feel a lot moer comfortable with our team though when anibal has pitched like he has all season and volstad is not great but not imploding either.

also, we should probably just focus o nthe teams between us and the giants for now. when we get in front of the mets and rockies, which could happen tonight, and eventually the dodgers, then we can start to focus on the giants.

A win today is HUGE!

If we could go up 2-0 in the series with J.J. starting Sunday we have a great chance to get a much needed sweep.

 

Also great news is that Prado broke his knuckle so he's going to be put on the 15 day DL but shouldn't be out for more then that.

That's a big loss for the Braves because Prado has been a hitting machine and pretty much scores a run or drives in a run every game something Infante hopefully won't and shouldn't do. They could lose a few game with Prado out unless guys like Glaus, Heyward and Chipper step up.

I like that lineup aswell but I doubt after this year Giancarlo bats anything lower then 5th. I wouldn't mind it though and remember Baker is coming back and hopefully he can put up some good numbers in his part of the platoon.

If you're thinking about playoffs right now, I would think it'd be easier to win the division. Less teams to pass, and it's nearly the same amount of games back (wildcard and division).

Also, we play the Braves and Phillies a lot more times than we play the WildCard leaders, the rest of the way. We control our destiny a lot more, within the division.

ya, we need to get a few games on the braves during that time.
