With now a bunch of old people. It's almost like Glen Mazzara gave us a big fuck you because he's leaving.

 

Hopefully the new showrunner can deliver. And give us more Morgan.

Really disappointed with that ending, especially with how good the episode before was and the overall strength of the season. To add to that, not a clue as to where they are taking the show next season, other than the fact that (unfortunately) the Governor will still probably be around.

I liked the Andrea finale.

 

Did not like the prison finale.

I knew the Governor arc wouldn't end, but more was needed there. A big battle was hyped for weeks and it feels like we got short changed.

 

There were some positives though:

 

Andrea's dead. Its a positive because now I don't have to hear anyone bitch about her anymore.

 

Tyreese is at the prison to stay.

 

Carl is becoming dark as fuck.

 

Rick seems like he's back to sanity.

 

Daryl was rocking the poncho.

 

I just have no idea where they're gonna take us next season. Luckily we get some Breaking Bad to help fill in the gap....well in July.

They used the most epic part of the 'battle' for the trailer. The RPG to the gun tower...

Seemed more like a penultimate episode than a season finale. Would've probably be a B+ as a penultimate one but for a finale... D-

Less secure though. Woodbury needed to be guarded from walkers on routine. The prison needed to be guarded from Woodbury, realistically.

 

What I want to know is what the hell happened to all of the guns that the murdered Woodbury people had... and why nobody was even considering shooting back at the Govna. Furthermore, if the Govna didn't pick up the guns, who did? Why didn't Rick and his crew take all of them? What about that dumb bitch in the truck? Why didn't they take both of those trucks? One had a fucking machine gun attached to it. Don't you think resources are *somewhat* valuable?

As a set-up espidoe, would have been great. As a finale, effin HORRIBLE.

 

1. NO Closure on the governor and his croneys. Probably gonna be a drawn out storyline that will drag out next season. I always loved that every finale so far led us to something more. Season one, gettin the hell out of atlanta and the CDC "on the road again". Season 2 was the finding of the prison and all its possibilities. Now, more stupid prison. Even Lori was smart enough to get the hell out of dodge.

2. The old people going back to the prison is ridiculous. Now, we have club med. Ive said it before, this show is at its best when the characters are out of the safety of their confines and surviving in the open. I want more of this and it wont happen while they're shacked up.

3. Andrea/Milton were the main deaths of the finale? Really? 2 characters pretty much nobody liked, killed in pretty much the same part of the storyline. great.

4. I dont know how I feel about Carl's dark side. I think Rick needs to stop being Carl's bitch and put him in his place.

I don't miss the show at all, tells you everything you need to know about the finale.

I am excited for a new season, but I'm far from eager or anticipating it. This season was a roller coaster filled with really high highs and really high lows.

 

Honestly they could've left the govna alive and ended on the Merle episode and I would've been so much more pleased. That episode was one of the best in the whole series.

I think once Breaking Bad ends and/or October nears, the anticipation will kick in. Especially when the Season 4 trailer gets released.
