We'll never see Morgan again. His story is done. If he's ever to show up again, it'll be the series finale (if the show gets a series finale).

18 Miles out was one of the best episodes of last season... We seem to have a theme here, everytime a few of the cast members leave the safety of their base (the farm, the prison) we have an amazing episode. That is the problem that I think the writers run into with the series in that we have to endure too much of the group in the base rather than out in the open where things get really interesting. I think we have 2 episodes left this season, so hopefully they will be as strong as this one was.

Here is a question I will pose for you guys tho...

 

How is it that Rick and Shane, being Sherrif's (albeit from a small town), had no clue about the prison until they stumble upon it in the beginning of the season. Being in law enforcement, you would think they would have knowledge of all of the prisons in the area, no? It is relatively close to their hometown, as Rick and co. made a day trip back home in the last episode. Bit of a plot-hole here, gentlemen!

I read the comic books for years, so I'm now going to start the series from season 1 this weekend.

Season 2 is way, way better watching it consecutively as opposed to weekly. Season 3 hasn't been so bad weekly though.

You're so right. A few weeks ago I watched the series on my new blu ray copies and Season 2 really isn't that bad as a whole.

Another "calm before the storm" episode, but I loved the whole Governor and Rick interaction with each other. Plus it was cool to see Daryl and Martinez kind of bond a bit.

I'll say that it wasn't anything special especially coming off last week's fantastic episode, but the meet had to be done and sets up an important morality choice for Rick.

I was kind of hoping Andrea would like...

 

The govna would've caught Andrea with the knife on him... making both Michonne and Andrea the ones that nobody wants. The season, no, the series, could end with the govna and Rick holding hands taking turns shooting them both.

 

I would be slightly upset about the loss of Michonne, however if that's the only way to get Andrea to die, I would be pleased.

Yeah, painfully slow imo. I also liked the interaction/bonding between Daryl and Martinez, and them trying to one-up each other at walker killing. I REALLY dont want Michonne to go, she has become my 2nd favorite character after Daryl. I knew that was coming, Rick having to chose between Michonne or the group. You could tell by the way they chose for Rick to not really like Michonne and keeping her at a distance. Had they bonded, it would have been a MUCH harder decision. In the end, I think theyre gonna do the old switch-a-roo in which they pretend theyre gonna give Michonne up, only to flip the script and try to take everyone out. I REALLY hope thats not the way she goes out.

I want something to actually happen. I'm getting bored of these set up episodes.

Im hoping we start with the action next week, even though I can see them dragging out another set-up episode next week. Last week was great because even though it didnt feature much action, the character development and dialogue was top notch. I was expecting something like that between Rick and The Gov'na but, besides the story about how his wife died, it was pretty boring stuff between them. The best interaction, again, was between Daryl and Martinez.

If there's a fight ensuing, the main character that's gonna die for this season's 2nd half is going to be Santa. That's for sure. Notice they're giving him the spotlight right now? Maybe Merle, but I highly doubt that. Merle is a potential trouble for all of season 4. But a good guy trouble.

TDog was never developed. We just liked him as the token black guy.

You are right about Lori, I just thought she would last longer than that. Shane in he other hand, I honestly thought he and Rick would somehow learn to coexist. He would be a great asset right now in dealing with The Governor. TDog was a joke on my part lol.

For being an Andrea episode, this one wasn't too bad. She finally got some balls and that scene in the warehouse was tense as fuck. Also, yay Milton.

 

Only 2 episodes left. Be careful what you read, because apparently there are major spoilers floating around everywhere. Luckily I haven't came across any myself. I had the Shane thing spoiled for me last season.
