So what's this show about?

A few things:

 

That didn't f***ing look like Lori at all. For just happening litterally hours before, the thing he was stabbing looked like a man. Her tits were gone for god's sake. Her hair was all the sudden short. I didn't know that when you turned you also got a free haircut?!

I like how they 'buried' Carol without even looking for her. WTF.

Oh yeah, it was an ok episode. Nothing that stands out really. The actors are good, but The Walking Dead has generally been a show where less talking=better moments.

 

Take for example the parallel between Rick's scenes and Andrea/Michonne's scenes. I don't care for Michonne, and she's given me no reason so far to like her. Even if her suspicions end up being true, she really has just come across as a cry baby thus far because she couldn't keep her weapon.

 

Then you see Rick, who didn't have a single line the entire episode, yet gave the most powerful performance of anybody on tonight's show. I'm extremely interested to see where Rick's character goes. I'd love to see them advance Rick into a much darker role to replace the ol' "leader" act. I think the new Rick makes for a much more interesting person. Thank you new show runners!

Yeah, even for being suspicious you should still be polite you cunty nugget. I agree, Michonne is kinda a bitch. Even to Andrea she was a bitch. It's like... you can nicely and calmly explain things. You don't have to get all aggressive and angry. Bitch.

Hah, ain't that the truth. Or better yet... why did nobody think of maybe killing the zombies that were behind the fence one by one so that eventually the whole prison could be cleared? You know... get their attention and have them attracted to the cage and then shove a knife in their head. But nooooo, instead we're going to just stick to 'our cell block'. Psh.

Turns out that wasn't Lori. Wouldn't have made sense if it was. It was a walker that ate all of what was left of Lori. Which is dumb. How did a walker get in there?

 

Also, I don't think that call was real. Clearly Rick wasn't in his right state of mind. Must be a hallucination of some sort.

It's definitely not Carol on the phone. This scene happens in the comics, so I won't spoil it.

Yeah it wasn't Lori. They confirmed that on Talking Dead. That zombie however did feast on her and you can see her hair around his mouth and hands. That stabbing scene was awesome.

 

Also:

Im with Dr.B on this. I "think" Rick imagined the call, him not being in his right mind and all. That was a good episode, not the best, but I think it will set up the next one.

 

Love the direction where they're taking Rick. That scene when Glenn approached him in the prison, and he just pins him to the wall, excellent. He hardly spoke, yet was the most riveting of all the characters last night. Cant wait to see how far his downward spiral goes.

 

Also, I really liked the scene where Michonne uncages the walkers and kills them off with her samurai sword. She is a real bad-ass and has totally been underused so far, minus her mean-muggin the govna.

 

The scene where Maggie and Daryl are going through the day care, and Daryl shoots the Possum with his crossbow was great! DINNER! LMAO!

I don't trust the prisoners. They gon' do some bad sh*t soon.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to her development. I really disliked Andrea for chosing to stay, even tho its apparent she wants to bump uglies with the govna!

She paints herself as this physical badass who can hold her own with the guys, but she consistently mentally cannot keep her own with the guys as she is always being used mentally despite being physically useful with a good shot and whatnot. Weak character.

She's got that 'I'm on my period' look 24/7.

Yeah it definitely looks like the next episode will (at the very least) set up the two groups meeting.

Cant wait to see what happens when the 2 groups finally meet. Rick is a madman right now, so he could go apeshit, but the guvna keeps walker children in his house, and brushes their hair... so he isnt much saner. me gusta!

It's his daughter. And I would call it a more psychotic side than innocent.

Well certainly psychotic, but the way they depicted it in the show last week was just like... "this is what I'm working so hard for. This is what I want to learn how to keep with me and not let go." It was kinda crap. They imply he's up to something very evil, but otherwise they've shown us nothing to state that he is in fact evil. Dunno why they do that..
