bobbob1313
Really? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCGj9fwfPgA Come on, Republicans. You're better than this.
bobbob1313
From what ive heard, Ayers said it sarcastically as a response to a question. Do you have a link to that?
Hotcorner
I have no clue why Trump is running the type of "campaign" that he is. Because he's a giant douche?
mystikol87
Whatever his views are, look at how he's expressing them on national TV: Trump on why he opposes Gay Marriage: "I just don't feel good about it, I don't feel right about it. Trump on Civil Unions: "To be honest with you, as far as civil unions are concerned, I haven't totally formed my opinion." You've got to have something more; come on, man!
prin
And you forgot his quotes on why we should stay in Iraq and get involved in Libya: "we need to take the oil."
bobbob1313
What does it say that basically all he's done to become a somewhat serious runner in the polls is to espouse every bulls*** conspiracy he can find? Like, he literally has said nothing else of substance except for crazy people stuff, and it's helping him. It's almost unbelievable.
Entendu
Donald Trump is not a serious runner and I am willing to bet anything that he won't be the GOP nominee.

bobbob1313
My issue is that he's filling an obvious void in the discourse for crazy conspiracy theories. I don't think that's just going to go away.

fanofthefish
The one good thing about Trump running for Prez, it means his stupid TV show comes off the air
heat84
Other than the incident wit the the Scottish farmer and the Golf course he built there(which I think is still on going), what has he ever done that was so bad? I sounds like he truly cares about this country. And who better to balance the budget than him?

EricWiener
Trump is not running, he is promoting. He is taking advantage of the time before this will cost him any money to get the publicity. He would not win a primary.

bobbob1313
Go read his wiki page. He's had a ton of failures in business. In 91 his business had to declare bankruptcy and he was on the verge of declaring personal bankruptcy. He need not be taken seriously by anyone. That he is is frightening. mystikol87
Not to mention that "random walks" could be responsible for all of his success; same with Buffet. But he hasn't even been successful always. So, yeah.
FutureGM
He's probably basing it off the video of Ayers claiming that he wrote it, although it certainly leaves things open to interpretation and ambiguous. I have no clue why Trump is running the type of "campaign" that he is. He has the money and the name recognition to be a Republican candidate that could draw in the independents who are becoming disenchanted with Obama's presidency. Instead of appealing to them, he's dishing out this rhetoric that makes him sound farther "right" than Sean Hannity. It's beginning to seem like to me that the Republicans want Obama to win a second term. I really doubt Trump will run. He has zero chance of winning even the primaries, and I think he's just doing this to keep his name in the national spotlight, which can only help his businesses. I would hope he's smart enough to realize he shouldn't actually make a run, but that ego might override common sense. Edit: Also the worst thing this country could have is a CEO at the helm. You're right. A ceo would be bad. We need someone more in touch with the community...like a community organizer! What could go wrong????
