July 3, 201114 yr turns out the answer was Gaby Anibal and Leo had no chance with Bochy being all over his pitchers' nuts
July 3, 201114 yr Gaby Sanchez the only selection... whatever the All-Star game is retarded anyway. I am excited to see Stanton hit some bombs in the HR derby though.
July 3, 201114 yr Well hopefully he can get in the game somehow. for some idiotic reason, Selig is instituting a DH in NL parks for the All-Star game from this year forward, so... not likely.

July 3, 201114 yr Author Anibal Sanchez > Ryan Vogelsong San Francisco isn't the only place where baseball is played, Bochy.
July 3, 201114 yr Anibal Sanchez > Ryan Vogelsong you'd think so, but... no. look at the stats, brah.
July 3, 201114 yr Where are all the Gaby haters now? The same place Omar Infante haters should be. :mischief
July 3, 201114 yr Where are all the Gaby haters now? The same place Omar Infante haters should be. :mischief wat Infante has a .620 OPS
July 3, 201114 yr Where are all the Gaby haters now? I don't understand this whoever hated Gaby, I've never hated Gaby in my tenure as a fan, what reasons is there to hate him. Solid ball player + Class Act + Hard worker = Likeable player.

The same place Omar Infante haters should be. :mischief wat Infante has a .620 OPS So what he isn't have his best year in the majors at the plate, he is still at +0.6 WAR and his defensive skills have him at a 3.7 UZR which is 6th best as far as 2nd baseman go. Oh btw, Dan Uggla has a -4.0 UZR, 2nd worst among 2nd baseman listed, oh and he has a .578 OPS, glad we don't have that guy.

It's unknown as of right now, and actually Stanton might not even make it according to this source, although it's still unknown. http://mlb.mlb.com/n...ws_mlb&c_id=mlb Could this year get any worse? Looks like Kemp, Weeks, Berkman and Holliday are the front runners. I guess Stanton is too young to be a participant.

July 3, 201114 yr Author Anibal Sanchez > Ryan Vogelsong you'd think so, but... no. look at the stats, brah. Anibal's stats are better.
July 4, 201114 yr The All-Star game is retarded anyway players should be picked on stats not who the fans want, screw the fans, especially considering that the winner has home field during the WS.
July 4, 201114 yr The All-Star game is retarded anyway players should be picked on stats not who the fans want, screw the fans, especially considering that the winner has home field during the WS. This game is for the fans. (And players' egos/bank accounts, to some extent.) Using this game to determine WS home field advantage is the retarded thing.

The HRD is the only thing I watch during those couple of days, but still.......
