November 22, 201114 yr bah - I just posted this in the Braun thread It is now his mission to seek and destroy those who put Miguel Montero ahead of him and Castro, Kimbrel & Ruiz on his same plane

November 23, 201114 yr in 3 years he'll have his own MVP, this is just the start folks ! 3? Why so pessimistic? I'll give him a break on this one - he's old, he confused the 3 with 8. As in, in 8 months it'll be unanimous who wins next years.
November 25, 201114 yr Why are people so mystified by this? :lol Dan Uggla got 12 votes in 2010 with slightly worse numbers. If anything, one vote is a disappointment.

November 25, 201114 yr If you are going to use primitive means of evaluation (I assumed you were joking at first about AVG and RBIs), you might as well go all out and forget stats altogether. Stanton had the better OPS, plain and simple. He also played his position well while Uggla was unfit to play his. I do think that in today's era voters give OPS and WAR a lot of consideration, even though there might be a few dinosaurs who base their voting off of RBIs and batting average.
November 25, 201114 yr Was probably more due to the fact that the MVP pool was a bit better this year. Who knows.
