isn't realmuto dh'ing a lot right now? it would probably help them both if they split the catching duties so they would be so tired from having to catch a majority of the time

also, skip worth is such a sh*tty hitter right now because he has no plate discipline and he never learned how to hit lefties, go look at his stats against them this year. there is no excuse for the decision to promote him after the 2 years he had in greensboro.

i think our entire player development/ scouting team needs to be over hauled.

has anybody figured out yet why they rushed skipworth to AA when he was pretty awful in greensboro? His biggest problem is striking out and you rush him to a higher level?

I can only imagine the reasoning of that one too, yes I know the FSL is a pitchers league with the larger stadiums and maybe they were trying to make up for that second year at Greensboro, but that one decision still makes me shake my head. As for the Realmuto angle he was slated for low A last year and shouldn't have been a consideration, but I would agree he's more of a prospect than Skippy.

Charlie Lowell just had another dominant start at Greensboro, 7 hitless with 9 Ks.

So over his last 2 starts, 14 ip, 0 r, 1 h, 25 k, 1 bb.

and only 3 hits over his last 3 outings (20 innings). Following the minors seems to be the only thing to do lately...
