I think that's a fielder's choice.

Sanabia's contract requires him to put two men on base every inning.

 

I don't want to jinx him either. He's hard for me to project, I just expect him to get shelled up here but it doesn't happen often. Not great stuff, no velocity or size, never been on a prospect list, just manages to get it done usually.

I kinda like him as a backend of the rotation guy. He's only 24. He has good control too and his flyball tendencies could work well in our ballpark.

 

 

Normally I would agree with you, and with the luck he had tonight I would say he deserves another opportunity, but the alex sanabia I expected to see was not out there. 4 walks and a hit batter is not by any stretch of the imagination good control.
