April 13, 201313 yr Mike Redmond might be gone by next week. We could see 4 managers this year the way things are going. Loria loves to play manager roulette. How many managers have the Marlins had over the past 10 years??? would rather see owner roulette
April 13, 201313 yr Author I wanna know if Loria is actually surprised we're sucking and pissed about it. Listening to the radio the other day and hearing some of his comment before ST and during ST I wonder if he knew how bad we were gonna be/are. This is the same guy who wanted Carlos Lee because of his RBI production. In other words, he has no clue about baseball
April 13, 201313 yr Not sure if it's been mentioned here yet, but John Buck by himself has 3 more RBIs than the entire Marlins have scored this year Karma? I heard Rich mention that. Kinda crazy.

April 13, 201313 yr Not sure if it's been mentioned here yet, but John Buck by himself has 3 more RBIs than the entire Marlins have scored this year Karma? There are baseball players this season who can produce more in 2 weeks than the whole entire Marlins team probably could in an entire month. Maybe we should trade for one of them? It would be nice to improve by 200% with the addition of an actual baseball player to this motley crew.
April 13, 201313 yr Astros leads 3-0 against Angels. They are not weaker than us anymore. Miami Marlins 2013: We are the new Astros
April 13, 201313 yr I'm already looking at prospects I hope the Marlins with the 6th pick. Kris Bryant or Trey Ball please.
April 13, 201313 yr 4 shut outs and 2 1 run games... Any homers left think this team wins more than the magical 69? I do. why? (this is a serious question. What makes you think they can win 68 more games?) The good stuff, And hitting their stride. Didn't the 69 Mets and Astros start slow and finish both above 80 wins?

Listening to the radio the other day and hearing some of his comments before ST and during ST I wonder if he knew how bad we were gonna be/are. Quite honestly, I don't think he cares how bad the Marlins are going to be as long as he gets that revenue sharing check.

What makes you think they can win 68 more games?) Seriously though, I see them hitting their stride, winning a few series towards the end of April and winning more series when the calender turns to may. I think this team can finish months with 15-20 wins, once they figure out who they are. Solano needs to go though, and JP needs to be replaced late innings. I think Red leaves him in out of respect for what he's done, not what he's capable of.

I agree about Solano and JP. the problem is if the hitting picks up its unlikely the pitching will hold. 68 more wins is a stretch imo

April 13, 201313 yr Playing in arguably the best division in baseball also doesn't help our cause for trying to win games.
April 13, 201313 yr Playing in arguably the best division in baseball also doesn't help our cause for trying to win games. The way this team hits I don't see who we beat in the entire NL in a 3 game series. Maybe Colorado if their pitching sucks.

Maybe that could grind two out of three against the Padres.

I think we'll be able to compete with teams like New York, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and Chicago. Possibly Colorado if they're pitching continues to be awful but I don't like our chances against their offense with Rutledge, Cargo, Tulo. Also you have to think, our offense won't be putting up 2 or less runs per game all season long, sooner or later bats will get hot and find a groove.
