Yelich is cool and all, but his last AB sealed the deal

Fuck the Braves

Braves tried everything they could to lose this game and Marlins said "nah, thx anyway."

Isn't it like this EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN year with the Marlins. I can easily count 50 games within the last 3 years in which things like this have happened.

Felt bad for Big Salad. He pitched a great game and we did nothing to support him.

They deserved to lose. Koehler was very solid and they were horrible with runners on.

That 9th inning was pathetic. Get ready for another rough series. Guess that makes us 1-9 against the division.

It is very clear that until we overcome the things that have plagued us every year against the division, nothing will change.

All it takes is pulling it off once but I think we all knew that when Kimbrel struck out the side, one way or another we were losing this game.

Well that was sad. Team put up good fight but the 'pen outside of Cishek and Ramos is a train wreck.

Also Reed Johnson is still deciding whether to run or not.

Did not get a good read but the 7 runners left on base in 3 innings was kind of the issue. The worst part is there was 0 or 1 out in all three situations.

Redmond is the type of manager who would never use a good closer like Cishek in the 9th or 10th inning in a tie game. He would only wait until there's a save situation or he has run out of everyone else.

and in fairness most managers I think probably wouldn't either. but again this is why he's just another one of these cookie-cutter old fashioned somebody once told me this is how it's done managers... You use your closer to close! ARGLEBARGLE

That's pretty much it. We're gonna have Dunn/Marmol get 70 appearances and Cishek comes out and pitches 50 times this year.

Most managers follow that logic to some extent, I agree, but I get the impression that Redmond holds to it more closely.

You have to leave your best relief pitcher in the bullpen IN CASE you get a lead. If you lose, you want to have your best arms rested for the next time you win.

I don't blame them. The road gray is the worst jersey of the set by far.

I was thinking the exact same thing at the start of the game. They keep wearing the damn orange jersey which is meant as a special home jersey. I have no clue why they allow it to be worn on the road.

And I dont think there is anything wrong with the grey. Dont why people dont like it.

Braves tried everything they could to lose this game and Marlins said "nah, thx anyway."

They can literally do everything wrong and its like we know we are still going to lose.

Grey seems to be ok for every other team in MLB. Sure, they occasionally wear a dark color but most often the road team wears grey.

Gray looks fine with most teams, but the Marlins have white lettering over gray, which looks like an eyesore.

Really is not that bad. But there is really no need to wear the orange on the road either way.

Sort of disappointed in tonight but we are extremely bunched up in between everybody in the wild card so that's at least a positive.
