Would really like to see a 6-8 strikeout game from nate today. He needs to get that slider back on track

Not really concerned with the K's. Would rather see the shutout.

I'm with you on this one, actually. If he gets the Ks in the process, great. But I want to see him go 8 with allowing two runs or less.

I think I've noticed a trend. Pitchers had wives that were pregnant to start the year, they did amazing (Eovaldi, Koehler). They got closer to the birth and started to do worse. The birth happened, they're still not that good now, but hopefully, the further they get from the birth date, the more they'll get back to first month style pitching!

I just hope Alvarez doesn't have a child on the way ...

Alvarez had his kid last year, just after the season. I remember his wife was a blimp during the no-hitter.

He was smart, then!

I figured Stanton would have homered in this series so far

I have class at 6:30 so this is going well but I want 4 marlins runs on 4 pitches soon.

Why isn't Solano fast? I feel like given the lack of his other tools, he should at least be fast, right?

Yeah, no kidding. Too much beefcake, I guess.
