 we will beat them, take their rum, and make Mr. Sparrow cry.

Marlins send out the one, the only, Brad 'Not Penny' Hand.

2-3, 4.15 ERA

Vs

Jack Sparrow sends out his skipper, Charlie 'Pirate' Morton.

5-10, 3.54 ERA

Still no Kike in the lineup. Are the Marlins anti-Semitic? More at 11.

Gotta take advantage of Morton, struggling all year. And a plus for no McCutch in the lineup.

If Morton is "struggling" then what can we infer from every one of our SPs except Henderson?!

Hand do your job :lol

ps: this won't be pretty. Hopefully the Marlins are not swept.

It would be very nice and somewhat unexpected to win this series. Please do that. Thank you.

Sincerely, me.

Or it's because Valdespin has actually done a halfway decent job in the lineup. Don't mess with what's kinda sorta working.

Put in Kike for Stanton!

So Marlins. Reds are without Phillips and Votto and are having serious offense issues.... They take 3 of 4 from us. Now the Pirates are without McCutchen... Any guesses how bad we'll do? We 'should' have taken the last series and 'should' take this one, but, ya know... Marlins.

Bah. Good pitch.

3-2 count ... breaking ball low and away? [before pitch]

Not on that one ... how about this one?

Nope, misses in. Good job, GC.

Look at you, Stanton. Good!

Nice one, Handerpants.

Perfect through 1 batter.

SHHH DONT JINX HIM

:lol what a circus.

Jones and yelich are my favorite Marlins.

Hech hasn't homered in, like, forever.

And he needs to not have an opposite field approach, cause if he swung at that just right and pulled it, two run triple to the deepest part in left center.

I asked if team will make a playoff run. And said hi.

I wrote an unwritten rule - don't make Tommy angry.

Go Handerpants!

My area is considered a home market for Phillies, Orioles, Nationals and Pirates so I am getting the Pirates announcers. They just commented on the play at the plate last week and agreed that if the ball beats the runner, runner is out, slide lane or not.
