August 15, 201411 yr Next season we should be a few games better and might sniff the playoffs. It's 2016 I'm interested in as they should have more payroll to sign some players and honestly need to push that year considering they are going to let one of the best players in baseball walk. It's all about 2016 kids. A few games better expectation than this year's expectation, sure. But that record in 1-run games is unsustainable, and they've severely outperformed their run differential. So, I'm not sure we can expect much W/L improvement if the roster stands pat with its starters.

August 15, 201411 yr Yes. That alone would be incredible. Do you not remember last year? Not really. its not like we're doing it with the same players as last year. We didn't do anything besides have replacement level players pretty much replace below replacement level players. The biggest change is our offense because, like it or not, Mcgehee and Salty and Jones are much better than Pierre, Polanco, Lomo, Marisnick, Brantly, Dobbs, Coghlan. Almost all of these guys had significant amounts of time in our lineup last year. This team is vastly improved but its mostly just because we got rid of like 6 guys who were awful and replaced them with OK to go along with Stanton being insane and some improvement from Yelich and Ozuna. Im not saying its not a drastic improvement I'm saying to be acting like it was some incredible improvement act when in reality its just really hard to be as bad as that team was last year. That team was all time bad.
August 15, 201411 yr The bullpen has improved too compared to last year's. It has been able to keep the team in close games for the most part.
