I still dont get that concept of playing jenga all the while paying money probably to attend the game when the team is exciting to watch.

To be honest. I blame the fact that I'm a fan of a Miami baseball club. In this town barely anyone gives a shit about the Marlins until they are in the playoffs.

 

I can ask any of my coworkers and friends what they think of the Marlins and they will all say the same things, "don't they suck" "dude, they suck I don't get how you're a fan..", "Is that Conine guy still playing?", "Mike Stanton is nasty".

 

Pretty sure half of my friends would be the ones playing Jenga.

That's why I come here so I can talk to meat heads that enjoy the team and the sport as much as I do other than just my father.

 

Edit: Also half the people here are wearing Yankee caps yet they can't even name more than one person that been on their roster in the last 3 years. Other than The Captain and Sandman. (Irrelevant I know, but grrr)

Well said, tommy and rich need to say a shoutout to all the members of this site. I mean...i would have stood up when stanton was replaced on sunday, to name an example. But you are absolutely right, very bandwagon town.
