Eh, you have to give your starter a chance to figure it out. Bullpen games rarely end up going well, so even with the day off tomorrow I'd try to get some more innings out of Eovaldi.

I'm really getting tired of Eovaldi's inconsistency. His stuff is too good for him to be this mediocre. All of this pitching to contact to get deeper into games is bullshit. I would prefer a well pitched 6 innings giving me all he's got than an average 7 or 8 innings. Especially now that our bullpen is much more reliable (except last night).

I don't know. I don't buy the excuse from the broadcast, but on that specific play, I don't think it was an easy one.

It seems like he didn't get a few calls he thought he should have had (they were balls) and then he get frustrated and then threw some shitty pitches.

I think that goes back to Adeiny's range to his left being shitty which is why it didn't look easy.
