Dietrich activated, optioned to AAA

Featured Replies

Good! Would hate to see him up here taking valuable playing time away from future stars like Donovan "I Can't Believe I Get Paid FOr This" Solano and Jordany "Vale Pinga" Valdespin.

I want him to start september 1 vs wheeler.

Wonder why they didn't just keep him on the DL another week instead of wasting his time sending him back to New Orleans yet again. They clearly hate this guy.

There's a limit to the number of days a player can spend on a rehab assignment.

Dietrich being optioned to NO reminds me of when LoMo was sent down for... uh... his poor performance. I think he had the best OPS on the team and they cited his poor batting average or something, lol.

To be fair, he was slumping like a mother from June til the time they sent him down which was about 2.5 months later, iirc.

And to be fair, Dietrich had slumped. Doesn't mean he isn't the best option...

Why do you end so many of your posts with an ellipsis? Can't you just end it with a singular period like a normal person? *throws a chair*

Because I hate chairs...

Dietrich looks like our future 2nd baseman except for 2 things: the swings and the misses, and above all the iron glove

he might be our 3rd baseman of the future however he needs to steady that bat a bit more

I think the Marlins are focusing on Avery Romero as our 2nd baseman by end of 2015...He also needs to work on his glove at 2nd base

This is why we have Valdespin and Solano at 2nd base right now

BTW I know Romero hasn't reached AA baseball yet but he may never get to play AAA baseball ever
