It's obvious to those watching, this team has simply given up. That is why there is no fire, they lack leadership too. I'm just afraid this season will make Loria go back into his "penny pinching" ways, and looking for a way to unload Stanton and "restart" all over again. I know Stanton's contract doesn't look like it will allow that, but I wonder if he doesn't go to Stanton and ask him if he wants to be traded. Stanton is probably in a mood to at least chat about it.
